Frequently Asked Questions
Is this compliant with US passport requirements?
Yes. We follow ICAO 9303 and US State Department specifications: 2×2 inch format, proper head size ratio (50-69% of frame), centered face, white background, and 300 DPI resolution. The photo is formatted identically to what you'd get at a professional photo studio.
How do I print my passport photo?
Download the 4×6 print sheet — it contains multiple copies of your passport photo tiled together. Take this file to any CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, or online photo printing service. Select "4×6 print" and you're done. Cost is typically $0.30-0.50 for the print.
What countries do you support?
We support US (2×2 in), UK (35×45mm), EU/Schengen (35×45mm), Canada (50×70mm), India (2×2 in), Australia (35×45mm), and China (33×48mm). Select your country before uploading your photo.
Why only $1?
Drugstores charge $14.99+ because they use expensive equipment and staff. We use automated image processing to do the same job in seconds, so we pass the savings to you. You get the same compliant result for a fraction of the cost.
Is my photo stored or shared?
Your photo is processed securely and temporarily cached for download. We do not permanently store, sell, or share your photos with anyone. After your session expires, images are automatically deleted.
What if I'm not happy with the result?
You can see a full preview before paying. If the automatic crop doesn't look right, try uploading a different photo — selfies taken at arm's length against a plain wall work best. Make sure your face is clearly visible with good lighting.
